The easiest and fastest way to get any kind of help is Ask my GP. It saves us time too, so please help us to help you.

Available from 7:30am until 3:00pm Monday to Friday (or until we have reached our safe working capacity).
We can usually get back to you within a couple of hours, and will arrange a face to face appointment for you the same day if needed.
All our registered patients are welcome to register, parents and carers on behalf of patients too.
You can name a GP if you wish (so long as they are working today).
You may prefer a message, telephone call, video consultation or face to face response.

NHS Wales App - Make The Switch

The Vale Of Neath Practice is now live on the NHS Wales App, and we are encouraging our patients to register for this new system in order to access the online services previously available through My Health Online.

Welcome to Vale of Neath Practice

The Vale of Neath General Practice is an online resource providing general surgery information and advice on common health issues.

The Practice, which is a general Partnership, serves the communities of Glynneath, Cwmgwrach, Pontneddfechan, Ystradfellte, Rhigos, Resolven, Melin Court, Clyne and Abergarwed. The Practice is dedicated to delivering high quality general medical care to the community and has contracted to provide various Enhanced Services, as commissioned by the Local Health Board.

The practice is a training practice for GP registrars and a teaching practice for medical students - see the section on Teaching and Training.

The practice is not a dispensing practice.

Access

The surgeries have external ramps, low reception desk counters and hearing loops to aid disabled access. Please inform the Practice Manager if other facilities would make your access to our services easier.
